you probably need to upgrade graphics. I suggest a Radeon 5450 for games such as League of Legends. Nothing very over the top, it will give your LoL around 40-50fps on medium and high should be around the 30-40 FPS which is playable.

Most ordinary laptops will do what you want but usually the sound is not great. I think you can now get a decent sound card built into a usb stick which should sound better. I am very new to gaming computers and I know I should build my own, but I want to first buy one premade since I have no idea how to make one. Give me some links to some if you guys can please. Well, I could get you a very good gaming system, but you would have to build it yourself, BUT it is easy. Watch a YouTube vid and you are set, you just need a few tools and you can build it. It will safe you 100-200$ and you get the satisfaction of building it yourself. I based this off my 800$ high end gaming system and downgraded it some. Also, when building it yourself, not a whole lot can go wrong IF you watched a video. The CPU only fits in one way, same with the ram, sane with the video card. The parts are all built so that it is easy to build it yourself. This system is right at the border to a high-end system and even I would be very happy with it. It can take on any game at high to ultra settings with no lag.This video card can run Crysis 3 at High settings and BF3 at Ultra settings. In other words, its the most bang for your buck you can get. Also, It allows a lot of upgrading. For example if it gets slower you can stick a new GPU in it and upgrade to the 8-core AMD CPUs it supports. NOTE: Intel CPUs are more expensive, but don't heat up as quickly, but for 200$ extra, they aren't worth it. AMD CPU's are better for budget systems, and have a much higher price for performance rating.

if it already has an i3-2120, the 2500k should fit. note you only need a 2500k if you ever plan on overclocking. a i5-2400 and i5-2500 are fine.
you can use also use the i5-3570k if you have updated your bios. again if you dont plan on overclocking the 3550 and the 3450 are also decent alternatives.

find decent AMD processor, find cheapest motherboard for that socket, get cheapest 4gb RAM, cheapest case, get cheap power supply, they have a 630w for 35$, get cheap 7200 rpm hard drive, and dvd drive to load OS unless you have another computer to load the OS on the drive and then plug the drive in and use rest for decent graphics card, like a GTX 470 or 560

Is it possible to jump in and out of a moving jet?

After watching a battlefield 3 video online (http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/12/09/and-in-other-pc-gaming-news-210/) I got into an argument over whether it was actually possible to jump out of a jet and then get back in. Do you think its possible or have and scientific facts proving or disproving it.

There are many variables, but it is THEORETICALLY possible. It depends what you mean by, ''jump out, then back in''

For a jet moving at a constant speed, on a horizontal axis, no.
A jet is being kept level and accelerating forward byuplift and thrust, not to mention its aerodynamic design. If you were to jump directly out, perpendicular to the plane, gravity will immediately pull you down and below the level of the plane you just exited, not to mention your perpendicular displacement (away from the door) as you jump out to hinder any attempt to get back in. Due to newtonian laws, you already have momentum parallel to the direction of travel inside the plane, therefore if air resistance was non existant and the plane kept at a constant speed, you would effectively stay ''opposite'' the door and not displace back towards the rear of the plane. Bit since air resistance is a reality, your velocity is slowed, therefore the plane would quickly accelerate ahead of you (not including gravity pulling you vertically down)

However, If you were to put the Jt into an accelerated nosedive, then jump out (considering the plane is being piloted by someone else, preventing the plane from veering offcourse) the plane could match your fall to terminal velocity, vertically downward, effectively keeping yourself ''level'' with the door, allowing yourself to re-enter (by aerodynamically positioning your body to be less aerodynamically resistant towards the door)

This however is highly theoretical and realistically, you could not control all these variables... so its POSSIBLE, but highly unlikely.

This isn't the answer you were looking for but 70 fps on BF3 for $600 is not do able.

Tthe fact that you only have $600 to spend, you can get most of the parts for under $600 true, but a GFX card that can run BF3 at over 70 fps is going to put your budget out pure and simple. Graphic cards that good usually cost a couple hundred by themselves, and that's not for a high end one.

Honestly, I could tell you part by part, but I don't know where you live, what shops you have available etc. And even then, if you are getting someone else to tell you what you need to build it it ruins the fun of it.

Look at the graphic card you want. Look up what harddrive and memory you want. Look up the case you want. See how much they cost, and mix and match. There aren't that many variants out there, so finding someone cheap that is right for you isn't hard.

If you truly don't want to do any of that, there are many pre-built systems that can run BF3 quite smoothly on high to ultra settings for under $1000.

Our relationship has always been good, its still good but I think he secretly hates me. From January 2012 till June my mum has been abusing me in the least extreme way and I haven't talked to her since I realised that I cant let a crazy woman take over my life so I have to be my own boss instead of her employee. So now she feels like she's lost a son, feels sorry and is giving me lots of attention(I don't appreciate those attention at all seriously). And my brother seems to be jealous of it. He says im a spoiled brat for doing this and did many many stuff to me but honestly if you were to compared who's more spoiled its him. Im using a 1 year old Sony Ericsson that is an average phone, He got an iPhone from xmas 2011 and I didn't get anything on xmas that day. He asked for a new computer because he spoiled his(he got real violent when the internet was laggy...) and he got a high end desktop with a gaming mouse etc etc almost instantly while I've been using a second hand Dell desktop which my mum bought it for 50 and it's only just usable. I have a Xbox which I used my own money to buy, he gets whatever he wants for free just by asking. I pay for the money I spent when I go out with friends, he gets to claim them.Basically my parents give him the best, or atleast better than me, they admit it themselves, but im fine with it. So recently, hes been very jealous of this attention im getting. It's not fun or even enjoyable, it's annoying as heck. Any advices on how to deal with this? This xmas, my mum is offering me a Samsung galaxy note 2, but I rejected. Because I know her. If she gets my brother stuff, it's free. If she gets me stuff, I owe her the world and she'll probably use that as a bargaining chip which would probably get me annoyed for another day. Please dont call me a bad son, you're an outsider who doesn't know anything so please do not comment

How much more would an i5 core processor benefit me than an i3 core processor performance wise?

Q. I'm buying a gaming PC (the alienware aurora) along with an ATI radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 (single GPU) and I was wondering if using an i5 core processor would benefit me performance wise more than the i3 core processor. If it does how much greater is the performance? Is it by a lot or a little?

depends on which i5 you are buying. choosing one of the more higher-end i5s will make a pretty significant difference when it comes to buying a recent, high-performing game. however vs buying an i3. it will be much faster. however, you still need to make sure your computer has enough ram in it also. 4 gigs minimum.

I was wanting a gaming pc. My budget is 600 dollars, and no more. Could I build a decent gaming laptop with that? I was looking on ebay at the used alienware computers, but last time I bought something electronic over ebay, it messed up 1 month later, and then I had to get my money back. I went to ibuypower.com to see if they had any, but all their laptops cost around 1000 dollars.

I need some expert opinions on this.

if you're building it yourself, $1k budget will definitely get you a very powerful desktop that can run most games on medium to high settings. You can definitely run LoL on highest settings without a problem. To put things into perspective, here's what you can get for ~$800

Apparently, I am not good with putting parts together, because the price for the things I've got listed is over 1000 dollars, and I have heard of people with amazing gaming desktops for less than 500.

I'm willing to spend between 600-1000. Under 600 or close to it would be optimal until I get a job.

What I have so far, is:

Monitor : LG - 24" Widescreen Flat-Panel LED Multifunction HDTV Monitor

Tower : Corsair - Obsidian Series 650D Mid-Tower Case

I don't know if that is all I need, but it turned out being extremely expensive.

If your main purpose for your build is gaming, then I recommend getting the Intel 4670K instead of the 4770K, the reason why, is that there is almost no game on the market to date that totally takes advantage of Hyper-threading and in some cases it has been known that hyper-threading can actually drop your FPS in some games.

What I recommend doing with the extra $100 you would be spending on the 4770K and invest it in a better GPU, something on the lines of the GTX660ti or the GTX760. The GPU is were you will see the most improvement in gaming all together as games now a days are more GPU intense then they are CPU intense.

Other then that, very very nice build you have going. Also one other thing, if you want to throw a little more money towards a better GPU after saving the $100, you can get a PSU that has 600W and it will still be enough power to support everything you have. Now a days everything is about power saving not how much power you have like it was about 5 years ago. GPU's don't even use a ton of power like they use to.

Well it depends on Ur price range what I have done to make it easier is I go to websites like tigerdirect and newegg and looked at good pard that have "also bought this"

First off you would need:
A case
Harddrive
Ram
Powersupply
Video card
CPU
CPU fan
Motherboard.

Watch out to get the same port for the motherboard and the CPU and fan (some CPUs come with a generic CPU fan)

Make sure the power has same as the monthsrboard if not you can get an adapter for the power supply.

Make sure your motherboard can handle the ram which u should be gettin DDR 3

Make sure the video card can work with the motherboard like pci express 2.0 most already have it.( I'm talking about the motherboard)

As for the rest is mostly plug and play and folow instructions.

First, choose the place you are gonna get your parts from. Then you could probably start with the case, or the motherboard, whichever is of higher priority to you. then just get the parts to fit that. google will get you many different tutorials to put it together. you'll want to get building kits too.

I have two games which take up a bit of space on my computer. Empire Total War and Shogun Total War. I recently got shogun total war and it operates incredibly slow and laggy. I have to put the graphics on low for it to even be manageable. I was wondering if i uninstall empire then shogun could wok faster?

Theoretically, yes.

A drive with more space will definitely work faster, but unless your removing atleast 50 gb of space, youll notice very little difference.

I suggest do basic maintenance

1. Remove unwanted programs
2. Do a disk cleanup
start> programs> accessories> system tools> disk cleanup
3. Defragment the drive
start> programs> accessories> system tools> defragment

Please help? My external hard drive is not recognized by any of my devices?

ok so I have tried plugging it into my pc, the laptop and I tired it with the hard reader (to watch movies on my TV) and it's not recognized by any of them. It happened all of a sudden. it used to work fine. I mean sometimes (but very rarely) the laptop didn't detect it but now none of the devices recognize it.
I have very important documents in it. Does anyone know what I can do? even temporarily so I could copy my stuff somewhere else?
I'm not very smart when it comes to computers either so please explain everything I need to do step by step.

Memory card suddenly won't be read on my computer?

I have a standard 1gb SD card which has always read fine on my computer. It's now saying it won't read and offers to initilize it, ignore or eject. This is after the card was put in my friend's mac book pro where the same thing happens. Why is it suddenly doing this? Really don't want to lose the photos on there. What's the best place I can take the card to?

This has worked for me several times, so I will pass it on. Plug it in the port, heat it with a hair dryer, wait a minute, plug it in and out a couple times. If it still does not work try the same thing with compressed air to cool it. If it start working copy the data as it may stop working again any time...

The small microprocessor on the motherboard will reload the drivers and your USB ports should be back to recognizing all devices! to achieve this simply power down you pc as you normally would and then unplug it from the wall for about 2 minutes. plug it back in and power up. hope this works for you.
