What will be the ideal gaming desktop in the $800-$900 range?

I'm looking for a new computer that will be able to run games like Fallout NV, Skyrim, and eventually planetside 2 pretty dang well. My current toshiba qosmio has done me good for 6 years but I think a new gaming computer is well overdue. I would just like some good suggestions! Please it needs to be in the 800-900 dollar range.

Im saving up for a decent computer, a more up to date one at that, iv looked at the macs and they seem pretty sweet im just wondering if anyone knows of a better computer? Im gunna be using it for mainly downloading music and videos, facebook, games and all that aswell as coursework, thankyou in advance :)

What kind of video games since games can range from flash games, which any PC are able to do or very graphics intensive games like Crysis, games that push the limits of the graphics cards. I am going to say though that I am not a fan of macs not because they're bad, but people think they're better than PCs which is a complete lie. Macs are better at Photoshop and such. So unless your going to be doing graphic design, go for a PC. The cheapest way is to build your own, but that is also the most complex way. You can find a very good PC for the price on sites like Newegg or Amazon. Or if your looking for a custom build, visit sites like cyberpower or xoticpc there are many custom building sites online.
