What is a good gaming headset for my xbox 360 and pc that comes with hdmi cable so i could hook it up to my xbox and pc. I am looking for something that at most cost 50 dollars im not looking to break the bank. Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question.

This wired headset is around your price range and have very crystal clear sound with very good bass and another great feature is noise cancelling mic which will eliminate all background noises while chatting. Headset is very comfortable for long hour usage and also very durable for long term use.

Ear Force X12 (good headset but mic is not noise cancelling and will pick up background sounds)
Ear Force PX21 (good sound quality nice features with noise cancelling mic and other cool features however PX21 is an old model and there is a latest version of this headset has been released and I would prefer that headset but PX22 is around 20 or 30$ over your price range.)

I'm thinking of getting the Sennheiser PC 350 Gaming Headset, but I want to know if it's compatible with the Xbox 360 first. If so, does anyone know if it works well with Halo 3, and cn you point to some ups/downs of the headset?(uncomfortable, great quality, etc...)

I'm not quite sure about that particular headset but I just went out and bought a cordless phone headset for 2 bucks and it works fine (you just can't adjust volume). As long as it has a 2.5mm jack it should work!
