Im looking for a good gaming pc but for a low price?

adam

im looking for a pc that will play wow very smooth and look clear and thats the only game i will be playing do u think this is a good computer that will meet these standards or does anyone else know of any other good deals?http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/AMD_Athlon_II_DDR2_Configurator is this a good computer?

Answer
It's very basic, I would say you need to upgrade video card, while CPU is low end it will be good in WOW. Athlon II is not that bad at all, espcially when you unlock all 4 cores and overclock it over 3.2Ghz+. I know the company that can make it - CEntaurus Computers, guaranteed excellent quality and free overclock, free shipping.
DOn't forget to add WIndows, change PSU 9that 450W is so cheapo and will fail). This PC in the configuration like this will die soon, 100%, just like people say about cheap CyberP comps.
Check Centaurus Computers if you want better quality

Answer
7950 is faster than a 660ti, the 660ti has only just hit the market and has been significantly over-priced. 670 at only slightly more expensive is more the competitor for the 7950.

BF3 prefers Nvidia cards, i don't say that from bias either as i tend to prefer AMD's price per performance. Both the 7950 and anything from the 660 up from NVidia will run it and anything else fine maxed out though.

PSU - Yes it will be more than enough.

Be warned that the Zalman Z9 case is pretty and it does have good airflow for a budget case but it is quite small and can be restricting when you decide to upgrade the CPU cooler later on. For example good air coolers like the Silver Arrow don't fit as it's not wide enough. Another cheap alternative would be the Antec 300 case, not as pretty but again has good airflow for being low budget and is wide enough to fit all the taller air coolers.

Edit - @ Matt : Just because the 660ti can be overclocked doesn't mean it isn't overpriced. It's only £20-30 cheaper in some cases than a 670 which can in turn be overclocked massively and doesn't have the 660ti's crippled bandwidth.
Then there's the 7950 which can be had cheaper than both and again can be overclocked greatly and also doesn't have crippled bandwidth like the 660ti. 660ti only has 192bit-bus and the 7950 384bit-bus.
The only reason to get a 660ti is if BF3 were the only game being played and even then it's still currently over-priced.
