This would use shutter glasses. The program you are watching would fill the entire screen.
This could also replace splitscreen in videogames.
Another example: 4 people use a big screen projector at the same time, playing a pc game, no screen peaking, they use the entire screen, they all view it at the same time.
If such technology existed would you use it? Would you want to see this in future game consoles?

And audio? Headphones? A bit awkward to wear headphones to watch TV.

I've normal 18.5" LCD Monitor and I'm interested to play games with 3D Glass, do I need to buy a specific monitor, I'll be happy if it will be possible to use with normal lcd monitor...Please recommend me something..

I have a 3D TV, and without the effect on, the glasses do nothing at all.
You need a 3D-ready monitor, and the glasses, along with some sort of up-conversion or dedicated format.
