Answer
I realize I answered your other question so I'm editing this answer by adding a 2nd option.
BAREBONE SYSTEM: (No monitor, keyboard, mouse, wifi card, speakers, optical drive, operating system) This is how you configured your other computer, so I'm guessing that it's ok.

CoolerMaster Elite 430 Mid-Tower Gaming Case
AMD Phenom⢠II X4 955 Quad-Core CPU

Video Card 2: NVIDIA GeForce GTX460 1GB 16X PCI Express

1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 16M Cache 7200RPM Hard Drive

£678.00 in VAT
2nd Option (I had to go slightly over budget):
http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/system/Cyberpower_Z68_configurator/
CoolerMaster Elite 430 Mid-Tower Gaming Case
Intel® Core⢠i5 2500K Quad Core 3.3GHz (currently gamer's #1 choice for CPU)
INTEL LGA1156 CERTIFIED CPU FAN
Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 Motherboard
GeForce GTX 460 1MB
Coolermaster 650Watt GX Gaming Power Supply

At stock clocks, the i5-2500k is twice the speed of AMD quad cores, and is even faster than the AMD Phenom 6-core cpus! That's because the design of the Sandy Bridge architecture (i5-2500k) is more efficient. Also, this CPU can be overclocked up to 5GHz+! that's a jump of 50% overclock! Most people will probably be able to over clock to 4.5 GHz (a 33% overclock). On that stock cooler, it'll get to at least 4GHz.
Due to the higher cpu price, it only allows for 1 GTX 460 card, so the other configuration will be faster until you complete the SLI setup.
The motherboard and PSU will be able to support SLI GTX 460s. The Z68 motherboard was actually cheaper than the P67 options. The difference between the Z68 and P67 is that on top of what the P67 can do, the Z68 can utilize the on-cpu-video which will double the speed of encoding video (not very useful) and it's able to utilize SSD drives to write cache, for quick access. So if the computer has to temporarily write on the hard drive, it'll write on the SSD drive so that it'll have quicker access to those files (somewhat useful if you have an SSD drive).
Obviously this system isn't complete. It's more of a work in progress, but the CPU and motherboard are both a good foundation to build your system around. Suggested upgrades would be:
1) 2nd GTX 460 card
2) A nice 24" 1920x1080 LED monitor to really see the visual success of your SLI gaming system.
3) 80GB SSD drive as the new primary drive. This will add even more performance to your computer. Your windows boot times and shut down times will be cut to less than 1/2, programs will load faster (especially programs like Adobe Photoshop or other large programs). Games will load much faster (the days of staring at "Loading..." while loading maps will be over). Copying files, installing programs, unzip/rar, and anything involving the hard drive will be more than twice as fast. And overall, you'll notice a bit more snappiness while using your computer.
4) Noctua NH-D14 heat-sink-fan. This is the best of the best. This cpu cooler works better than the H70 cpu water-coolers. It's huge and some would call it ugly, but it's quiet and cools CPUs lower than any other cooling solution under $200. Reasonably priced at $80, it's a great tool for overclocking.
