So I started on a budget off about $1000usd. I went a little over the budget, but I feel its a good build! Please let me know what you think of my final build. I have never built a pc before so its obviously my first time.

Looking at the build using a amd fx 8320 and a gtx 760 , psu is good for the build , using windows 7 for gaming excellent , later on a ssd drive for the build great for booting and gaming, go ahead and build it any problems let us know

Ok, after much deliberation, I have finally settled on my first PC build. I do very simple video editing with Sony Vegas, and I want to record lower-end games like Minecraft and higher-end games like Skyrim with the best graphics possible. Is this a good build?:

Yes, the 4770k is much better for video editing/ rendering over the 4670k. Also the Z87 motherboards comes with alot more bank for the buck compared to the Z77 motherboards, stuff like all the sata ports are 6GB per a second, more power phases and better stability for overclocking.

Speaking of overclocking, if you plan or intend to overclock, Intel offers a great Overclocking plan( http://click.intel.com/tuningplan/ ) that allows you to be able to overclock your K series CPU, with no worries about voiding your warranty. the warranty covers any damages to the CPU, the best part about it, is if you ever have to RMA your CPU back to Intel, they will replace the CPU for you, no questions asked. I highly recommend looking into this if you overclock.

Also Note: that when you are gaming, if you go to the bios and turn off hyper-threading, your FPS will go up more, like I said before in your last question, as of right now there are almost no game on the market that is optimized for hyper-threading, later on down the road a couple of years and there will be but if you want the best performance when gaming disable HT and then when you do Video editing and more intense workloads enable it again.
