A good PC build for a $1000 budget?

Isaiah

I have a budget of around 1,000 dollars, and I'd like some advice on what sort of build I should go for in terms of CPU and graphics card. I'd really like to get the most bang for my buck. FYI, I can go maybe a few hundred dollars over-budget if its necessary.

Answer
Hi, $1000 is a good budget for an excellent PC. I wasn't sure whether you needed a monitor, so I didn't include one. But I did add in an awesome Keyboard and Mouse. But this should run pretty much every current game very well indeed. AMD used to be king of the bang for buck processors, but their "APU's" aren't very good. The intel 2500k has had huge praise for it, as its very fast and some people have managed to overclock it as high as 5.0ghz!

As you can see this over your $1000 budget, but to sweeten the deal you are getting 2 brand new games for free as soon as they are realeased, 8GB of RAM for free which is normally $50, I only choose quality components so you know your power supply isn't going to explode etc... and there are $30 of mail-in rebates you can claim!
