best gaming pc 3000 image

Hi, I am going to buy a new strategy game for PC. I like games where I can start from the stone age and continue developing a society to for instance year 3000. I also like games where I can be a president of countries and decide there politics.
Any suggestions?
Answer
Rise of Nations suits your description perfectly. But there is no year 3000, just 'till modern age. Try Rise of Nations: rise of legends, I think there's future technology there.

Can you give me some really good gaming specs for a gaming PC top build for less than 1000 dollars?

Ok, 1000 dollars is my max budget for a gaming desktop. I need windows, keyboard and mouse so that is already about $130 dollars right there. What are the best specs I can get with about $900 hundred dollars or less? I want to play all games on medium settings with 60+ FPS.
Answer
Best I could come up with on Newegg.com for less than $900:
-Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive ($64.99)
-ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard ($102.99)
-EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) FPB 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card ($124.99)
-SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold ((SS-650KM Active PFC F3)) 650W ATX12V V2.3/EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD ... ($139.99)
-Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX ($49.99)
-Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 ... ($219.99)
-COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 "Heatpipe Direct Contact" Long Life Sleeve 120mm CPU Cooler Compatible Intel ... ($29.99)
-Scythe DFS123812-3000 "ULTRA KAZE" 120 x 38 mm Case Fan ($11.99)
-ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM ($16.99)
Total: $761.91
As for cables and other little things like that, I left you some elbow room to squeeze those in. I also don't think I did enough cooling, but you can squeeze that in as well if you want. And as for the case, that's perfectly up to you. But with the rig I set up, it should be able to run any game fairly well. :)
