What do you think of my strictly gaming pc build? Here are the specs.

HAF 912
ECS H61H2-M2
i3-2120
Seasonic S12II 620 620w
EVGA GTX 570
G.Skill 8gb 1333 Value Series
CD/DVD Burner
Windows 7

How well will it perform? Will it max out modern games? Keep in mind this system is strictly for gaming. Thanks!

Answer
You're in good shape, but for running games on max detail I'd recommend upgrading to a Core i5 2400 or 2500. There's almost no difference between the Core i5 2500 and Core i7 2600 in games, so paying more for the i7 isn't worth it for gaming. And for playing on HIGH settings, the Core i3 2120 is fine. But when you push to ultra settings in really intense titles, the CPU starts to play a bigger role. Basically in the scenarios where you'd take full advantage of a GTX 570, you'll want a bit more CPU horsepower behind it.

If your budget is tight, go with 4gb of RAM and a Core i5 2300 or 2320. At ultra settings it would pay off. Maybe consider the 448 core GTX 560 Ti classified edition instead of the GTX 570. That would save enough to upgrade your CPU. The 448 core model is really a lower-end GTX 570, based upon the same GPU.

What do you think of my Gaming PC build? here are the specs

HAF 912
Zotac GTX 560 ti 448
i5-2320 (don't have the money to upgrade to a 2500k)
ECS H61H2-M2
Seasonic 620w
G.Skill 8gb Value Series
DVD Burner/ Windows7

What do you think? Will it max out modern games? Thanks!

Answer
looks real good, and you kidding me, a gtx 560ti 448 can max ANY game there is on the market at 1920x1080 pretty easily...

But here are things i would change:
motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157241
cheaper and better, i wouldnt get ecs boards.

the psu is alittle overkill, you can drop it down to like a 500-550W and could probably save some money.

and as for the graphics card i would stick with asus, evga or msi

the MSI twin frozer II/III and the asus DC/DCII have the best cooling solutions, for higher end cards, they are the way to go for sure.

I i would love for someone to tell me which game this card isnt going to max settings on?
the gtx 560ti 448 is pretty much an equivalent to gtx570 in performance. So again tell me what game in this world a gtx570 can not max settings on? and dont say derp for max settings the resolution needs to be set to max, most people dont play on resolutions above 1920x1080.

EDIT: jim...
that case is a really good case, idk wtf you are smoking. Ya the antec v3 is better, but that case is $110...
how can you possible recommend an antec psu over seasonic... guess who makes both antec and corsair? seasonic does...
evga's warranties for most of their cards are a lifetime warranty (lifetime of the card not your life...), meaning what ever they say the lifetime of the card is, is how long you have a warranty for. So if the card has an expected lifetime of 15years, you have a 15year warranty.
And lastly why would you get pro/ultimate? xp mode? windows 7 can run any xp software, it just cant run software that is older then xp (like win me,98 etc). Which i have no idea anyone in the world who need to run that old of software, except maybe cheap greedy businesses who wont upgrade software, which they probably pirated in the first place...
