Would a pc game bought in Italy work in Australia?

I wish to buy some of 2011's best pc games in Italy where i currently live. Will these work back home in Australia or is there some sort of region lock? Most likely they will be in dual languages or not?

There may very well be a regional formatting problem.. Before you buy ask the store owner your important question. I don't know if games are formatted by region like DVD's are.

I would like to buy a desktop for gaming. Any stores you recommend? JB Hi Fi and Dick Smith and most retail stores sell mainly laptops and all in ones.

MSY are a good Aussie company and they have stores in South Australia.
They are very competitive when it comes to price. They have individual parts so you can build your own gaming PC or they have prebuilt systems that you can purchase.

You really should build your own. You save a lot of money that way, though, at least you have the good sense not to buy from Dick Smith of JB's. Getting a computer from those places or Harvey Normal they will rip you off and it won;t be much of a gaming rig because they always put shitty graphics cards in them.
