best gaming pc 3000 image
William
I want to get a gaming pc this june and i am willing to go anything under 3000 dollars (minus tax, shipping ETC.) I want a pc with 2 gtx 680 sli an i7 processor and at least 16 gigs of ram I have looked at company reviews from ibuypowerpc and cyberpowerpc and lots fo people state there computer came assembled or broken and alienware is just a complete rip off. Where are some good places where i could find good gaming desktops?
Answer
First of all, there is no reason to overspend on a PC for games. A Core i5 will play games EXACTLY like an i7 will. No difference for $100 less. Secondly, unless you are running multiple monitors, there is no reason whatsoever to get 2x 680 GTX. Save the $500
Either 8 or 16 GB of RAM will be more than enough. There is no reason at all to get anything higher since it will just sit there wasted and unused, and even 16 GB is pretty much overkill
