PC Help. (Very low FPS)?

I recently fixed my gaming computer (which was out of action for one year) and some of the games have extremely low FPS (Bad company 2, red faction, Minecraft only gets ~7FPS) and I have NO clue how to fix it. I had to install a new OS when I fixed my computer, buy I doubt that has much to do with the problem.
