Grand total $590 for a budget gaming quad core PC. Toss it all into your old PC case, or spend the additional 100 bucks on a new case of your choice.

You wont need to purchase a new operating system if you have an install disk and the key code for the one on your old system and just use your old hard drive and cd/dvd drive. If you do not have an install disk but do still have the product key for your operating system (usually on a sticker on the case) you can take the new build once completed to a repair shop and give them the key and they should have an install disk they can use to do it for you and shouldnt be too expensive.

best gaming pc under 800?

specs that i want: intel i7, 16 gigs of ram (or 8 ), 750 gig hardrive (or more), nvidia geforce or gtx 640, 650, or 680, windows 8, can be stylish doesnt really matter, a moniter or not, and if you want please also tell me a good gaming mouse and/or keyboard. THANKS!

Answer
Sorry, but there's no way you can get those specs for just $800. The best you can get with that budget, including a copy of Windows would be this build:

Intel Core i5-3470 Processor: http://goo.gl/vGTMQ

MSI B75MA-P45 Motherboard: http://goo.gl/B0J8g

XFX Radeon HD 7870 Graphics Card: http://goo.gl/j3P3g

8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM: http://goo.gl/l2SxW

1TB Western Digital Caviar Black Hard Drive: http://goo.gl/stXpE

NZXT Source 220 Case: http://goo.gl/WdXKl

500W Corsair CX500 Power Supply: http://goo.gl/fnlR9

Good Gaming mouse: Try the Logitech G500

Like any PC gamer would tell you, building your own is always the best way to go - not only being cheaper but also giving you the freedom to choose the exact specs you want and giving you the feeling of satisfaction knowing that the machine you're using everyday was put together with your own two hands.

If you run into any trouble there are plenty of online tutorials and forums where you can look for help.

Good Luck :)
