Gaming pc...?

Dvin B

i want to build a gaming pc just need a few answers..
1) what to look for in terms of Ram, etc.?
2) where to go/where can i do it?
3) what kind of pc? (dell, etc.)
4) average cost?

thanks in advance.

Answer
If you really want a good gaming PC, you'll need to build it yourself.

As for your questions..
1) 3 GBs.
3) Not a dell, their horrible. I recommend Gateway, I've never had a problem with them.
4) Depends, a lot, probably.

Is the Dell Inspiron 1525 a good gaming PC?

I want a gaming PC, and I have my eyes on a Dell Inspiron 1525. Is it a good gaming PC?
Also, I would like to put a graphics card into it. Is this possible?

Answer
Intel GMA X3100, this is the graphics > and it's awefully HORRID
even if you configure with the highest cpu, it does not help one little bit

now as far as putting a graphics card into it ... think i got to stop you day-dreaming
there is no spare room inside ... no slots to plug the card ... so ... dead end
laptop graphics are pretty un-upgradeable, save the rare exotic gaming breed

so please get your build right in the first place

a decent gaming laptop will set you back $1000+ and again it will not be upgradeable
a desktop will make for a far better choice
and should you need portability, and at a budget ... there is a neat factory refurbished at bestbuy with 3 month warranty
