What type of motherboard should I get?

I'm very dumb with knowledge on motherboards but pretty good on everything else. What is a good mother board for my custom built pc?

take my word, i build my PC, and learn from my mistakes.
if you are patient, then you should wait 2 month for the Next gen Intel Core i, its called Haswell
with that said it will support Z87 which is much better than Z77 for the current Intel CPU's
and if you want your PC now, and cant wait that much you should get a Mother Board that has Z77 in it, and before buying it you have to make sure that they are all compatible with each other especially CPU, RAM, and Mobo
and my Gigabyte Mother Board is NOT good and you will NOT get BIOS updates when you buy it, i do NOT recommend it, with that said i haven't use Asus AsRock so i dont know their Pros & Cons
but i recommend an SSD instead of that HDD, and make sure that everything you buy is designed for Windows 8, because its a gaming PC and the next version od DirecX 11.1 is only for Windows 8, so for the maximum power you should add an SSD and Windows 8 for your new PC if you cant afford it then buy the SSD another time but the Windows 8 is a must.

It's a good request, and hard to show you, a survivor game with a female protagonists is not much usual, even in this "age of innovation"... But Let's go:
*Silent Hill 3 (survival-horror) - starring Hather Mason, the daughter of the the first protagonist of the franchise, Harry Mason
*The Longest Journey (adventure) - Starring April Ryan
*Resident Evil 3 (survival horror) - Starring Jill Valentine
*Portal (puzzle platformer) - Starring Chell
I'm sorry, dunno many games with these requirements, i also trought in Bayonetta too, but this game is for PS3 and Xbox 360 sadly. But these are one the best, and Tomb Raider is the greatest playable woman and protagonist of the all time, Lara Croft FTW ;)
