How do I change software requirements?

Grahame

I'm not sure if this is possible. But I have a macbook pro 2011, I put bootcamp on it and play tons of games on it. But when I installed medal of honor airborne it says the graphics card isn't supported? I know the card could definitely handle the game, but is there a way to change it?

How can a visibly speed up my PC for free?

best pc gaming graphics card 2011 image

I need a software or something for my PC. It is like 10 years old I recently increased the RAM and hard drive. It barely has any programs so there is nothing to remove to make it faster. I have about 1 GB RAM and 1.2 Terrabytes hard drive space with no graphics card. But I like to play online games in which they are kind of "laggy". Is there anything I can use to speed it up?

Answer
Download tuneup utilities 2011 it has a free trial but you can use it once and speed up your computer.

I would like some advice on a good processor and graphics card for Starcraft 2?

David Rada

im not looking to run it on ultra high settings. something for a low- moderate pc gamer. the cheaper the better, honestly, but nothing that won't work well with other games, like Skyrim, too.

Answer

I wanted to buy a graphics card for highest quality PC video game performance, what is the compatible card that goes with my PC? its a Gateway GM5472, please, thank you!

Use this guide and specify your price - ignore AGP port section of guide.

Buy from newegg, frys, tigerdirect.

The Radeon 4850 HD is the best bang for your buck.

Be advised some cards require two adjacent slots and a large PSU (500W) or greater. Be sure you have the space in your motherboard/case and a powerful enough PSU (yours is 300W). THe radeon 4850 is single slot which is nice.

Try the card with the 300W PSU and see if it boots. If the card hangs during a game you generally need a better PSU.

Your case is a BTX so you need a BTX PSU if you want to replace it.

What is the best should I do if I want to play modern PC games at max graphical settings if I've got this?

Chrome

I've only got 130 Dollars (USD) to spend

I've got a laptop (purchased in 2011) with these specs:

i3 (2.53GHz)
Intel HD Graphics
4 GB RAM

I know that the processor is okay and the RAM amount too but the Intel HD Graphics is bad for gaming so I'm thinking if I could connect an external graphics card to my laptop. Can I do this? Is it worth?

I've also got a pretty old (about 10 years old) desktop PC with these specs:

Pentium IV (2.80 GHz)
ATI Radeon 9600
768 MB RAM

Should I buy components separately in order to upgrade this old desktop PC?

Or should I buy a new desktop PC?

Can you help me please?

I want to play PC games like Far Cry 3 at ultra settings...

Thanks and sorry for the bad english.

Answer
First off you can't upgrade the GPU in a laptop so you're stuck with Intel HD graphics.
Also although it may be possible to upgrade your desktop it probably won't be worth it, you'll have to pretty much replace all of the components including the motherboard since it will most likely only support old DDR/2 RAM and old processors.

You should just buy/build a new desktop. But with a budget of just $130 building a PC that can handle Far Cry 3 on ultra is impossible. Sorry.
I recommend just saving up your money until have at least $300+ if you want to be able to build a half-decent gaming rig.

Good Luck.

What is the best monitor on the market for FPS gaming?

Parker

I am looking for a new monitor for my PC Gaming rig. I only play FPS games.

What is "THE BEST" monitor on the market at the moment for gaming that will deliver the maximum frame rate? (My computer can play games over 100fps, but I just need a monitor that can deliver more than 60fps for me to enjoy it to the max)

Anyone know of the best?

Answer
welll.. define "The Best"

by my standards (and your not gonna like this) the BEST display would be:
NEC PA301W 30" IPS 2560x1600 monitor. for the best experiences you'l need 3 of them.
99% perfect color reproduction
excellent contract
14 bit 3D color dictionary (some 1.3 billion colors)
it supports 3D display
industry standard for graphics, video, and game designers.
its um, $2300 each, and 3 of them would be... $6900. and since its obviously extremely valuable, shipping would be like $400 ($200 to ship + $200 in insurance)

you'll need dual-link DVI -out or you'll have trouble enjoying this top-quality monitor.
this is as close as you can get to an Apple computer's display, which is the best there is.

MaximumPC's Dream Machine 2011 utilized 3 of the best monitors in the world.

they also had three nVidia GTX 580's to back i up, I seriously doubt anything less can actually handle so many pixels. at 4800x2560 most graphics cards will be struggling to produce even 5 FPS.
