Which gaming pc should i buy?

Q. So basically i don't have a big budget so i was looking for something cheap on ebay and there was a lot of crap actually but after searching for ages i found these decently specced machines; i know the graphics arnt amazing or anything but they should be fine for gaming if i just turn settings down wont they, which one should i buy?

Answer
I agree with you that these are decently specced computers. If you can afford it, I would go with something a little better but it is your choice and I will answer this question specifically.

I would say go for the Mesh Gaming Tower computer. It seems to have better specs than the other computer you posted. I did a little research and the 9600GT beats the 7800 GTX in most modern games. The 9600GT is newer and will probably give you the most bang for your buck (or pound) in this situation.

When looking at gaming computers, there are a couple of things you should know. CPU speed, RAM and the GPU are all extremely important factors in gaming. The Mesh Gaming Tower would be my choice because it has more RAM, a higher clocked CPU and a newer video card. This computer should be able to run a good number of games with the settings turned down a little bit.

Finally, one thing you could do is buy the Mesh Computer and and upgrade from there once you have the money. You may want to upgrade the amount of RAM, or get a newer video card, or even a SSD but either way, I think the Mesh Gaming Tower is your best bet.

PS. That video.... I really hope you are not that kind of person. Lol

Best site to buy a custom gaming desktop pc??

I want to buy a good gaming desktop computer. There are so many sites out there (ex. Alienware, ShuttlePC, WidowPC, among others) its hard to figure out which ones are better than others.

What is the best site to buy a gaming PC for a reasonable price?

Answer
Most sites for gaming PCs are a ripoff. Buy an HP with good specs. Don't get a video card for it. You can get a really fast HP for about $1000. That comes with monitors and everything. You'll need a good power supply and a nice video card. Go for 600-700W power supply. Then buy an 8800 video card. It'll perform way better than an Alienware or whatever of the same price.

Edit: Please don't buy Dell.

About the risk of buying pc games from ebay (bootlegs question)?

Q. I have a question about getting pc games from ebay.
A lot of games i want are always out of stock in retial stores, and even on online stores like games.co.uk, shopto, etc...
Its like 60% of the games i want to buy, always out of stock and i dont even know if they ever will be back.

And the only place i can find them? Ebay.
And im intrested to know, why ebay always have ALL the games? isnt it a little bit strange?
If ebay got all of the games, why all the big stores dont have them?
Do you think its just that the big stores dont think its worth ordering them again if they always out of stock?

From where ebay sellers getting there games?

Im just thinking, if ebay got all of the games, maybe they just making bootlegs?

Will be glad to get some answers, thanks !

Answer
The real answer is that many of the volume game sellers on eBay bought out stock from retailers or other distributors. If a retailer isn't moving a certain game very well they don't hang onto for very long.

So... a couple of things you can do. Definitely don't buy a game from an eBay seller that is new. Find one that has lots of feedback and make sure it is positive and that there aren't any feedback saying they got a game that wasn't original.

You can contact the buyer and ask very direct questions about their product. If they hedge or are rude, don't buy! Any seller on eBay that is legit will be happy to answer your questions and concerns.

I've been buying and selling games eBay for a long time and have had very good luck. Just be careful... if it's too good to be true... it usually is. There ARE some bootleggers out there but if you do your homework, you'll be fine.

So far ever gaming pc I've bought is HUGE and won't fit on my small little desk.

Can anyone suggest a smallish gaming pc with a good graphics card so I can play the latest games.

Answer
I think they still make them... Look for "shoebox PCs" These are small cases that still take full size PC parts. You can buy a kit and build your own, or buy a partially assembled box and choose your own video card, etc.

Otherwise, do what I did - get a little shelf or something and put that alongside your desk so you can put the PC on that.

What website or store can i get a good reliable gaming pc?

i am planning to buy a gaming pc and i have searched websites like ibuypower, cyberpower, dell, best buy. But what do you guys think?

Answer
If you have the ability and know-how build one and buy the parts online, it is the cheapest way. I built my PC for about $1200 and it would be worth at least $1500 if it was purchased from a place that sells gamer PC's whole.

Hi, I have always wanted a gaming PC because I know the graphics are better than console games. And I want to be able to record with fraps and not lag while playing Skyrim Maxed out.....but I don't want to spend a lot of money so if you guys could give me suggestions and maybe post a link to where I could buy it (in stores or online). And The gameplay of the computer than that would be great.

Answer
So, my friend you want good gaming experience, but cheap. Well let's start with the processor .All of the latest games require Core 2 Duo or Quad. In the future it will be Intel i3. So I think you should buy an Intel i3. For better gaming let it be a Sandybridge core. That will cost you around 135$(that is the price in my country, good luck if you find it cheaper). Now the VGA. Buy a ATI HD6570. It eats games for breakfast. Even lunch! The price like the processor, 135$. And the memory(ram). The best ram is 4 gb. No questions. It's less than 65 $. So that is my tip.
P.S. I have the same these thing on my PC :D

i was wondering if it is really cheaper to build your own gaming PC?

Nick

my computer is getting really old now and i saw the new star wars; the old republic and thought, i need a new computer. i did a little research and the internet says its cheaper to build your own gaming PC than buy one from a store. there is only one problem, when i went to new egg to find the components i found myself overwhelmed by the options and names of everything. basically, i have no idea what I'm doing. if anyone could help, that would be awesome.
