I'm trying to get the best pc i can to run garrys mod and skyrim with as little lag as possible with the most FPS
Answer
If you mean $1000 then don't worry you'll be able to run Gmod and skyrim easily.
Search on ebay for 'custom gaming pc' and you'll get loads of very good ones.

This one for example, it looks gorgeous, quadcore 3.6ghz processor, 8GB ram, SLI GTX 450 but you could ask them to change the two 450s to a single 560 and its evenbetter for less.
This is just an example but this is an excellent machine that will surely get you running gmod and skyrim easily, skyrim with a few tweaks may get up to ultra high

i'm looking for a gaming desktop that is already pre-assembled (i don't want any DIY suggestions and such -- i'm not that tech-savvy) that will play games like the sims and dragon age fast and with good graphics. i'm not very knowledgeable about computers so it would be helpful if you gave a list of possible pcs that fit what i'm looking for along with some pros/cons.
Answer
