Gaming Setup Essentials?

I have two monitors, one for pc and one for PS4. For the PC I have a quad core, 16gb ram, and a 3gb DDR5 AMD 7950. Peripherals: Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2013, Razer DeathAdder 2013, Steel Series Mouse Pad, Astro A40'S. I have AC4, BF4, CoD Ghosts and KillZone for the PS4. I was wondering if there was anything else I need/could have.
What is a good size SSD. Always was looking in to getting those, I have one with 128gb but I'm not sure if thats big enough.

I don't know what you were trying say "quad core" not much to know about your processor but it is probably good enough it seems like a good setup but if you are rolling in cash always concider upgrading graphics i just got a GTX 780 and i can play BF4 on 120fps on ULTRA maybe get SLI going double your graphics output if you're badass enough...

you have a good, expensive build. some items could be found in similar, much less expensive versions, though if money is no matter, then get what you have listed.

items to consider less expensive versions:
CPU cooler - if you are not overclocking, a stock cooler is fine; even if you do overclock, a good heatsink/fan combo is ~$30, so no need for $100+ setups
Thermal Compound - 65g = 2+ POUNDS! how many computers are you setting up?!?!?
Motherboard - get a similar spec'd model for ~$100
HDD - no point in getting a faster "Black" spec as you already have an SSD for your main/boot drive
Monitor - a similar, slightly smaller 23" would cost about half

regarding your specific questions at the end:
- you will be able to run any game at high settings and this will not change for a while as you are buying top tier items.
- no, you will never have to replace the thermal paste on your heatsink UNLESS you take it off and remount it.

Yes, it's good. However you could tweak a couple of choices and make it better for the same price.

I agree that the FX-4300 is a better CPU value around $100 (while the original Bulldozer FX processors were slower than a Phenom II X4 965 in games, the Piledriver CPUs have much improved gaming performance).

Also... if you're buying a GPU of the Radeon HD 7790/GeForce GTX 650 Ti or higher level, that's where it pays to spend another $20 and get a 2GB model. Some games (most notably Skyrim) need 2GB of VRAM to avoid major fps drops on ultra settings at 1080p. If your monitor resolution is 1680x1050 or lower, then you'll be fine with a 1GB card.

You have more than enough power. In fact, I suggest saving a few bucks on the PSU with a Corsair CX600 or Seasonic S12II 620 and boosting your GPU a level instead. Move up to a GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870. 600W is still plenty for a build with those cards, but your fps would be much better.

heres what i am running see what need improvement and what i can change to get my system running better.....when i run 3d mark im getting between 15 to 21 fps and i have to run games on lower setting in order to play

Well, your question caught my eye as it seems that i am in the right position to answer your question right now! My PC is running one 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor with no problems....using a Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 Vapor-X 3GB...this goes for around $499(US) . Since you are running an eyefinity setup with 3 monitors this is the smartest choice; the processor is completely adequate as is your RAM.

FINAL WORD: get a Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 Vapor-X 3GB, possibly two or three if you have the money, especially if you like having graphics maxed out.

I know a bit about computers, but only that. I'm no "computer whiz" by any means. Anyways, to the point! I like to think I have a pretty decent desktop. More than plenty of HD space, graphics are fine, PC speed is fine, I never really have any problems with it. I've had it for a few years, and I'm thinking that could just be the problem. I run Anti-Spyware/ Malware programs monthly and I'm always able to get any kind of harmful programs off, whether minor or serious.

Well, lately I've noticed the performance dropping when playing games. For instance, I was able to play Skyrim just a few months on ago on Ultra settings. Now, I can only play on Low, and even then I get lags and drastically reduced frame rates (Especially when I've played for a good while in one sitting).

Was just wondering what kind of actions or steps I can do to maybe get things back to how they were. I'll post my dxdiag below.

upgrade your ram. you have a quad core processor. I would recommend 2gigs per core, but atleast 1gig per core. content is getting heavier and take up more resources to compute. also hit control-alt-delete once in a while, select task manager and watch usage on cpu and memory and see what is using up resources and maybe you might want to stop that process before playing games.
