Any recommendations for a good gaming mouse. I am willing to spend as much as it takes but I want a good quality mouse that will last for a long time. I play all kind of games with the computer but i don't want to many buttons on the mouse preferably under ten like 7 or so. I am hoping for wired but wireless will do as long as it doesn't lose connection. I also want preferably high dpi and hopefully laser. Thanks and sorry if in wrong category

logitech G7 is a great mouse and can creat profiles for speed like 5 different speeds on each game you play. it also has weights you can set for comfort of movement

So i play a lot of PC games(FPS mostly) and lately when i aim down sights and fire with any type of fully automatic gun in any game it fires sporadic,uncontrollable, random bursts, while holding down LMB. While not aimed it works fine. Help!

How much will I need for a good gaming PC?

Hi, I was just wondering how much money I would probably need for a good gaming PC (including monitor, mouse, etc). I do not necessarily want to play every game with fully maxed out setting, but at least on the mid-high end spectrum for the next few years. I am trying to muster up about $1000, but I'm not sure if that will be enough. Also, if you know any reliable, well-priced PC's, a link would be great.

With monitor, you can have an upper level gaming PC for $1000

Basics should be something like

- i3 or i5 processor (or the AMD equivalent)
- P67 or Z68 motherboard (see above)
- minimum an ATI 6870 or NVidia GTX560ti graphics card
- 600 watt modualr power supply (lmodualr because easier for cable managment)
- 4 to 8GB of RAM @1333/1600MHz (higher speed isn't needed because of unnoticable speed gain)
- SATA 600 hard drive
- LiteOn DVD burner
- Well ventilated case
- 24" monitor from Acer or Asus (cheapest around and pretty decent)
- Simple but good mouse and keyboard from Logitech or Microsoft

The above goes between $900 and $1000 when scanning a site like NewEgg...

I recommend Newegg.com and Amazon.com (ebay works well also) Their prices are usually cheap.
I use Razer products, their products are really good, and they are known for their gaming products such as the ones you mentioned (mouse, keyboard, headset) For a mousepad, I recommend SteelSeries qck Gaming Mouse Pad.

You should also check your retail stores nearby. They might have sales on those products.

Hi, I really want Portal 2, but I hate using our XBox so I want it for PC, unfortunately neither of my parents will allow me to put it on their computers, so I'm looking to buy a quality gaming PC. It really depends on what you plan to do with your gaming PC

Do you want GOOD, GREAT or the BEST?

A GOOD gaming PC should cost about 600$. This is enough to go on mostly high settings at a mainstream resolution. Basically a normal home computer but with a dedicated GFX card.

A GREAT gaming PC should cost about 1000$. This is what you'd get if you want to use a single monitor and play games on their highest settings at a high resolution. You'll either use 1 top-of-the-line card or 2 midrange cards working together, and you'll want a pretty good processor.

The BEST gaming PC should cost above 1500$. This is for people who use multi-monitor displays, 3D effects, or absurdly high resolutions. Prepare to purchase multiple graphics cards, at least 2 high-performance hard drives (for RAID 0), a sound card, and liquid cooling systems.

BUT REMEMBER, THIS IS ONLY FOR THE PC TOWER COST: YOU STILL NEED TO BUY A MONITOR, MOUSE, KEYBOARD, AND OPERATING SYSTEM! I personally spent 350$ on those (200$ monitor, 100$ OS, 20$ keyboard and 30$ mouse) you may also want to buy headphones, so keep those in mind too.

If all you want the PC for is to play Portal 2 and maybe some MMORPGs, then go with Good. if you plan to get into Steam and build your library, go Great. If you have too much money on your hands and want to surround yourself with the best, go...Best.

I want an epic gaming pc, that WON'T break the bank. I'm willing to go upwards around $1500-$2000. I want a total Kick-A$$ gaming pc. I most certainly will not do liquid cooling (i mean with resevoirs, pumps, and all that stuff) Any money you can save me will be great. I don't need a monitor, mouse, headphones, or any of that stuff. I want this focused on parts not peripherals. Links Please :))

Just make sure you get SSD (I would combine it with SATA so you have both speed for system/programs and storage for data). SSD could seem quite expensive, but if you buy a smaller one, really just for fast system and programs, it shouldn't be so much money. ¨
Make sure you have atleast 8 GB RAM - it's not so expensive.
Also never skimp on cooling, that's very important. It doesn't have to be liquid.

Now you can look how much money you got left, and considering that you could choose which CPU and GPU (and correct motherboard and power supply) you can afford. I wouldn't go below 2 GB memory on GPU if you are a serious gamer. CPU probably 4 cores.

I'm not going to make you a list, but these are most significant "epic gaming PC factors" for me :-)

What's the difference between a gaming PC and a powerful Home PC?

Apart from the fact that the Gaming PC has a better graphics card and perhaps a skin or a colourful case of the tower.

They seem the same to me.
@1st- Couldn't they be used for both? They have the same tech specs.

But Gaming PC is a special hardcore gamer oriented PC with Powerful components to run all games at high resolutions as well as may contain special gaming mouse and keyboard ( programmable like Lachesis) and a specific fixes for gaming even vinyls foe gaming enthusiasts thus relatively expensive
