Best gaming pc to play wow for under 600?

Hey Im looking to build/buy a computer that is under 600$ that will run wow on max settings. Can someone give me all of the specs they would think to make a great computer, also links to the parts/computer would be most appreciated. (also don't tell me that the wow doesn't take a lot to run it I know that. I would also like to play games such as battlefield 3 on medium or high settings.) I will give out best answer. Thanks :)

Gaming PC for EQ-EQ2-WOW?

I am going to invest up to $1500 into a gaming PC. I played Everquest until 2005 on a pent II, so anything is an upgrade. I looked at cyberpowerpc.com, and it looks promising, except for I noticed a little more negative feedback that I had hoped for.

What I am looking for is a PC that will run oneof the three games, whichever I happen to be in the mood for. Basically I would use this PC for gaming only, with the possibility of getting a program to edit movies off my new dvd camera. Any input would be appreciated. I am mediocre when it comes to PC lingo, but I know speed and video card are major components for a gaming system. Thansk in advance!

To run a game like EQ or Wow you can actually make your own pc for less then 800 dollars and run it easily on max settings. Just make sure you have a gig or more of ddr3 ram, have a processor thats above 2.7 mhz and 1mb cache if possible, and also try to have an nvidia card thats 7 series or higher. If you're going to have Radeon i'm not too sure about what those equate to. But yeah those are the main things you need to worry about. Just make sure you build the computer yourself if possible because otherwise retailers will bone you. Newegg.com is good for computer parts.

PC Games like WoW or Age Of Conan?

ABSOLUTELY get Guild Wars, it's incredible and free to play online. You can even buy the collection of all 3 games, plus the expansion game, all of which I can't recommend highly enough. Beautiful, in-depth games. The stories are only average, but then WoW and Conan have particularly lame stories by any standards.

The games are:

Guild Wars (since called Guild Wars: Prophecies)
Guild Wars: Factions
Guild Wars: Nightfall
Guild Wars: Eye of the North.

You need one of the three full games to play Eye of the North. The games don't really have any continuing storyline so you can play them in any order.

If you're having trouble deciding, Prophecies has a traditional fantasy feel like Conan; Factions has an Eastern feel; Prophecies has a Persian/African feel, and some additional gameplay features like heroes (NPC buddies who accompany you). Personally Factions is my favourite, but all are beautiful games.

It's good for WOW but it's unbalanced PC overall. Q9550 is really an aging processor, no bad though. DDR2 is really showing age and should be avoided. 5850 video card is very good, for everything. Diablotek power supply is not good at all, it's not reliable and I would not expect it to last very long ( too cheap for 650W). Same for Seagate 200GB - small and seagate fails a lot, better be with WD or Samsung. Xion cases have always been low quality. This computer also is not upgradable. LGA775 socket is dead, same as DDR2, new video cards will not change a thing.
But overall it will run WOW on high settings and above 30FPS.

I play minecraft 24/7 and I know that it has memory leaks and other issues that make it so you need a higher end computer in order to get rid of the frequent crashing and lagging. http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/AMD_Quad_Core_Configurator/ Most of the configurations on this computer configurator is enough to play bf3 at 60 fps except the graphics. My understanding is WoW isnt exactly intense on the specs of your computer so this should be good.

It has to be for pc and has cool weapons, ive played lost planet 1 and 2 darksiders, prototype, WoW, league of legends dead space 1 and 2 mass effect diablo 3dragon age, skyrim and such and was curious what games have wonderful graphics cool fights and HUGE monsters i love fighting huge monsteres in games, pc games btw, thanks!

I dont know what the bosses in Aion are like but it has better graphics then wow so...

Other than that I would say get some mods for skyrim for bigger and badder bosses.

Hello Everyone! I am looking for a laptop that like I said can game with ease, not much lag, but it doesn't have to be able to handle like the best graphics. I just bought a $2200 gaming PC, so I don't feel like spending all that much on a laptop, plus I need something portable for school that I can carry around easily. I also really want it to LOOK GOOD!! Sleek, thin please!
Well I have seen this in other threads, so here we go!

1. What is your budget?
About $800 at most.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
I am thinking 13-15" maybe 17" if it is a good deal, because sometimes I do like larger laptops. I would really like it to be thinner, I don't want it to be a tank.

3. What screen resolution do you want?
As good as possible with my budget. HD is preferred, but not needed.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable is preferred, nothing massive! I would like it to be thin!

5. How much battery life do you need?
About 3-4 hours would be great, more even better!

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
I want to be able to play Starcraft II, World of Warcraft, Runescape (on High of course not very taxing), Borderlands (High), Minecraft (Normal distance) and other games to come probably. When it comes to Starcraft and WoW I would like high graphics of course but it isn't needed.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Mostly playing music, watching movies and other videos, web browsing, video/photo editing.
