Matthew

k I think i got my brother in laws xmas present figured out (budged gaming PC under $1000 after rebates) Let me know what u think cuz Ive been out of the building game so long..

CPU: i5-3570k $180
MB: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 $125 - $40 CPU Combo discount
RAM: G.Skill RipJaws X 8GB $40
GPU: MSI N670 2GB 256-Bit $320
PSU: OCZ 600W Modular $45
HD: Samsung 840 PRO 128GB $150 - $20 Mobo Discount
Case: Some cheapo diablotek $40

only thing I'm 100% set on is CPU & SSD

Answer
Sounds good. There are just a few things I would suggest.

1. You can double your SSD size for $50 more. 128 isn't much especially when gaming is concerned.

2. Throw in something along the lines of a at least a 1tb hard drive if you are planning on keeping music, videos, ect on it. Otherwise it sounds good and should get through a while.

3, You may not want to scrimp on the case. Things are made a lot easier with room. And airflow (cooling) is very important.

Best 1000$ gaming pc build 2012?

Title says it all

Answer
Won't be able to tell you yet.

These are scheduled to release 2012:
>Nvidia Kepler has yet to be released.
>Intel Ivy Bridge has yet to be released.
>AMD Piledriver has yet to be released. (Doubt it'll be any good)

However, as of this point the best would be something like:
i7 3970x
High end x79
24gb DDR3
Radeon HD 7970 CrossFireX x2

I've heard that it will need to partially downloaded on Steam, but I haven't got an internet connection at my gaming PC. Will I be able to install F1 2012 and play it without internet connection?

Answer
You can't download it without internet connection also I have no clue what F1 stands for so I have no idea how to help

As far as I know EVERY game must be fully downloaded and installed on Steam so you must have an internet connection plus it can't connect to your account without one anyway

what is the best gaming PC for end of 2012?

Law

I am looking for a decent gaming machine without getting way too costly... I have did a search and PC's change every couple days to a point I am not up enough to make decision. I would like to stay below 1k..... I mainly want to play the upcoming arama 3 and flight simulators..It will be hooked up via HDMI (which is a must) to my living room 62 inch TV... Any advice? I am on Newegg but lost as to what I need?

Answer
You'll want an Nvidia GTX 680 for the graphics card. For the CPU, perhaps an intel i7-3770K.
