Depends on how much the person is asking... computers are becoming very cheap.
(for example, you could buy a brand new Dell with all those specs and more with an awesome video card for $800-$900 and that would be brand new)...

That said ... lets take a look at the specs on the advertised machine ...

AMD AM2 CPU -- no mention of speed ...
AMD is hurting right now compared to Intel. I have been a faitfhul AMD fan for the past 10 years but have switched over to Intel because the new Core2Duos are simply fantastic/amazing processors -- until AMD pulls a magic trick, I'm sticking with Intel.

1GB of RAM -- well... you will probably want at least 2GB of RAM to play some of the games. While adding 1GB of RAM isn't difficult - on this machine it will probably cost you about $40 (versus $10 on the newer machines).

8600GT is a decent video card but roughly a year old (in computer age - thats old). Figure the 9600GT would be its replacement - costs $180 and is twice as fast.

All the installed games is nice -- do they come with the original KEYS? Anyone can download games, install them and play them - but you really need to be careful about using illegal software. Aside from the legalities - what happens if you ever have to reformat/reload your computer? Are all the disks available to reload them? Is the Operating System legit?

I'd give this a little research - again, compare the prices. New systems are getting pretty cheap and a lot of the newer systems will give you better performance for a great price. The 8600GT is the best thing listed above but even that is only a $80 video card right now. (and again, I would verify the legalities of the software just to be on the safe side).

I got this gaming Pc about 2 weeks ago,since i am a pro gamer i prefer a gaming pc worth 2000 bucks, but one night i was just looking for a good gaming pc and you know what i came to a web site which a gaming pc for about 799$ and when i visited it again it said 750.99$ for the same computer, for the same Intel core i7 and every thing was the same.The same day it self i ordered it online and they told me if i want some configurations in my gaming pc.Its been 2 weeks after i got my brand new gaming pc and the good thing about it is,i got a free gaming disc of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 , it's pretty cool,nice deal for that price. the second thing is im playing it online fantastic deal! What company should i go with to get a decent gaming pc?

I am looking to get a decent gaming pc nothing super. I have read so many conflicting things on different companies. Should I go alienware, ibuypower, or cyberpower. I am kinda computer illiterate so building my own is not an option. Any suggestions

What is a good gaming pc build that can run everything on max?

I'm looking for a gaming pc, preferably from ibuypower. my goal for the pc is to be able to run games on max settings (with no lag of course) with FRAPS turned on. I was hoping for something below $4000. Im a noob withh pc's and any help would be appreciated.

Alienware is a ripoff do not get u can build one for under $4000 that would be much better u want probably a top of the range i7 processor (something like the 2600K) 3+GHz would be best anything closer to 4GHz for ultimate performance
Motherboards there's heaps to pick from just make sure it's crossfire or SLI capable (such as the ASRock Z68 Extreme4-Gen3)

Then get a good 850Watt or more PSU(power supply unit)
Get a good case something from corsair like the obsidian 650D or 800D would be great

get two good graphics card, EG. AMD 6850 in crossfire or Nvidia GTX 560 in SLI and probably gonna wanna get liquid cooling maybe, a decent liquid cooling system once again only brand I can think of atm to Reccomened would be corsair

Also you want around 8-16GB of ram something like 12GB ram 1600mhz would also be great for you

Case:your choice like I said corsair or an Antec nine hundred Two Ver3.0 is also good
PSU- Thermaltake Tough Power XT 875W

This wouldn't cost you more than 3Grand TOPS! My build is gonna be similar to this :-) oh and also ur gonna want a big HDD like 1.5TerraByte or more and make sure u have a 64bit Operating System to utilize all your ram hope this helps

From what I heard building your own gaming PC is much cheaper than buying a brand new one. But the only problem with that is I'm only 16 and no little to nothing about how the inside of a PC works and I wluldent know where to start. So how does a 16 year old go about assembling a gaming PC? a guid? Get help from someone who has done this? I don't know where to start with this one so who wants to lend a kid a hand?

I'm 16 as well, but you should start studying the parts on what to get and look at its performance. I started looking through the sites where you can buy parts and reading the reviews of it.

Number 1 thing I'd look for first is a good graphics card you can go with ATI or Nvidia. Newegg and Tigerdirect usually have good deals on 550 ti or 560 Ti cards which are Nvidia.

Second thing your going to want a decent Cpu i5 or i7 for Intels will do good. Or you could go with Amd they just came out with there 8 core which is the same as Intels i7 but 60-70 $$ cheaper.

Good power supply, I'm not to worried about the brand but get one around 600-750 watts.

Ram go with 1600 or higher. With at least 8gb. I have 12 but never use it all.

Hard Drive go with 7200 rpm or get a solid state drive (SSD) and put your OS on it you will have good boot times and then you can put games or whatever on a different drive.

Motherboard - make sure it's compatible with your cpu if your getting a 8 core/quad core AMD will be AM3+ and intel will be LGA 1155 I believe.

It really depends on what you plan to do with your gaming PC

Do you want GOOD, GREAT or the BEST?

A GOOD gaming PC should cost about 600$. This is enough to go on mostly high settings at a mainstream resolution. Basically a normal home computer but with a dedicated GFX card.

A GREAT gaming PC should cost about 1000$. This is what you'd get if you want to use a single monitor and play games on their highest settings at a high resolution. You'll either use 1 top-of-the-line card or 2 midrange cards working together, and you'll want a pretty good processor.

The BEST gaming PC should cost above 1500$. This is for people who use multi-monitor displays, 3D effects, or absurdly high resolutions. Prepare to purchase multiple graphics cards, at least 2 high-performance hard drives (for RAID 0), a sound card, and liquid cooling systems.

BUT REMEMBER, THIS IS ONLY FOR THE PC TOWER COST: YOU STILL NEED TO BUY A MONITOR, MOUSE, KEYBOARD, AND OPERATING SYSTEM! I personally spent 350$ on those (200$ monitor, 100$ OS, 20$ keyboard and 30$ mouse) you may also want to buy headphones, so keep those in mind too.

If all you want the PC for is to play Portal 2 and maybe some MMORPGs, then go with Good. if you plan to get into Steam and build your library, go Great. If you have too much money on your hands and want to surround yourself with the best, go...Best.
