I have my computer hooked up to my TV through a miniHDMI cable. I want to have the sound to come from only That monitor. For example: I want to have netflix for example to play on the TV while I am playing a game on my PC monitor, but only want sound to play from the TV, and not the PC monitor. I have windows 7 home premium edition 64 bit, and use an INTEL/nvidia system if it matters.

I was looking into building a gaming pc instead of buying a next gen console since everyone online says its cheaper than a console.. $1700 / ($7.25 per hour) = 234.5 hours. If you work 8 hours per day, that would mean you would need to work just over 29 days to earn $1,700 ignoring taxes.

So i was hoping to be able to use my RGB PC monitor. But obviously i need some sort of special adapter. I think ive seen one before anyway. So can someone specify what adapter or lead of whatever it is i need to play xbox 360 games from my console using my monitor like you would for a TV.

a capture card will suffice. But if you don't want to spend extra money you can videotape it with a camcorder...

I'm sure you mean like if there's a program that you can download so the computer can "videotape" itself

I'm sure there's probably something like that out there but i dunno what it's called
