Should I buy an xbox 360 or ps3?
I like first-person shooters (crysis, CoD, battlefield, borderlands) most (I've been playing PC mostly for years), and all the games I like appear to be released on both consoles.
I'm looking to save money. I've heard xbox360 charges $50 a year to play online, but ps3 is free. But I've also heard there are more people on xbox's online network in the USA than ps3's. Is this correct?

I also want a system that's durable. I've heard all the RROD horror stories--has this been fixed for the newer xbox's? Does one system have a better/longer warranty? Also do both systems have built-in wi-fi for the newer models?

I already have a blu-ray player, so that's not a consideration.

Are peripherals more expensive for one system than the other?

Does one have more comfortable controllers for big hands?

I like that i can get an xbox 360 4gb for only $200. It looks like the ps3 is $250 new, but it has a 160gb hard drive.

I don't see any exclusive games for either system that I'm interested in, so it looks like my selection is good for each.

Since, you're not on the market for a Blu-Ray player, the 360 is the best bet.
Having said that, there are some drawbacks and advantages.

Advantages of 360:
-Way more content as far as DLC, Apps, Arcade and Indie games, and deals and specials following all of them. Huge game marketplace
-Way bigger community than the PS3. Always people online. MLG tournaments, special events, and promotions.
-Headset. Can't stress that enough. Though most prefer to buy a 3rd party one, the Xbox 360 comes with a default headset for that vital communication when playing FPS such a Borderlands. No one wants to dish out $40+ bucks for a bluetooth one.

Disadvantages:

-That 50-60 bucks a year price tag for online, though you get used to it.
-Microsoft Support sucks. Nuff said. It's just horrible.


And as far as Games go, I recommend checking out Halo 4, or at least renting it when it comes out.

Get a PS3 - free internet - Playstation store is a hella lot easier to use than microsoft thingy - Graphics are Rad - Games can be pretty cheap - try play.com or Game i never pay more than 40 quid for a new release, Killzone & Resi 5 £35 each - built in wi-fi & bluetooth - blu-ray player, those Blu ray movies are killa's - i have 4 conrtol ports so Headset, Joypad, & guitar hero thingy all fit in together - why not get a playstation eye as well - Platinum range of games 20 quid

I did just this morning read an article that Micorsoft put out an Ad for developers to create new games for the next gen-console so maybe a very nice 2012 ish time for Xbox 720 cause thats what i would expect it to be

But for all that you could buy a upgrade a PC taking in mind it would take a heela lot of money to do - Sorry long Explanation - 30in Monitor 700 ish pounds but it has a native resolution of 2560 X 1600 - take in mind Full HD is 1920 X 1080 - not all Console release's are at these specs yet - But then you would need maybe another £1000 to buy just 2 top end Nvidia Cards to run the Graphic Content at 2560 X 1600 resolution - also you would need £300 for about 6 GB of DDR3 Ram - then you would also need a quad core at least 3 to 3.2 GHZ processor, about 600 quid for an Intel or AMD have them bout the 250 ish mark - Again a motherboard capable of running 2 graphics cards 6 GB of RAM & plenty of cooling, maybe another £250 & of course a power supply to run it all another £100 - After all that you need a case to put it in & why not a decent top of the range 7.1 sound Card so add between 3-400 quid

When i get to the end of it i think your price is nearly WOW £3000 pounds Crysis would blow my mind at that kinda rate

They haven't announced the release date yet for the next version of XBOX, but many people speculate that it will be sometime around 2010-2012, so there's still plenty of time to get in on all of the action.

I would recommend buying one, especially if there are a few specific games you really want.

I would recommend the Premium XBOX 360, as it should contain most of what you need. The main difference between the Premium ($260) and the Elite ($399) is that the Elite comes with a 120gb HDD instead of the Premium's 20gb Hard Drive. Unless you plan on saving a lot of stuff to your xbox, the 20 gb should be plenty.

A few differences between the Premium and the Arcade ($199) version are that the Arcade version comes with 256mb of memory (This can easily be surpassed by downloading any content), the Premium comes with a headset, and it comes with a wireless controller, instead of Arcade's wired controller. Additionally, the Premium and Elite versions can play games from the original xbox, but the Arcade version can't.

Should I buy the TB PX21 or the Tritton Ax 720 headset?

Ok, so I game almost every day, several hours a day, on my PlayStation 3. I'd like a good answer, explaining why one is better than the other. I'm looking for the one that's more comfortable, has better sound quality, better durability, and easier setup. I used to have a px21 for about a year and a half, but then it broke and I now have a sharkoon. Sharkoons are terrible and this one just broke. From what I remember the px21 wasn't bad, but since it was the first headset I owned I had nothing to compare it to and I don't remember much about it now. I've seen and heard a lot of reviews on each, and there have been people that say their Tritton breaks a lot and there's shitty customer service, and there are people that say their turtle beaches are made with cheap plastic and break all the time. Right now I'm leaning toward the Tritton because it seems easy to set up and it seems like the better all around headset. Most of the reviews I've seen are older, evaluating previous versions of the ax 720. I've heard the 2012 version is more lightweight and more comfortable. So basically: which one will provide better comfort form my ears and head during hours of gaming? Which one is more likely to break? Which one has better quality sound? Also...I know the px21 is compatible with the PC, but is the ax 720? I do spend some time on skype talking with friends so it would be nice to have a good mic for that as well. If the ax 720 isn't, is there something I can buy for it to make it compatible with the PC?
I do not own an xbox, only a PS3.

I bought this headset to replace my incredibly uncomfortable Turtle Beach X12 headset. I only use this for my Xbox 360, and maybe if I want to play Counter Strike on PC every now and again. The comfort is amazing, the sound quality is amazing, frequency response is amazing, and Dolby audio is just amazing anyway. The only problem I have with this headset is the mic; it doesn't seem to respond as well as something from Turtle Beach or Astro. I have never been happier with any headset, and I've played with the Astro A40 system (it sounds great, but it's a Skullcandy product now, and I hate Skullcandy with a passion). This is a sturdy headset, but incredibly comfortable while on your head; the independent voice and game volume is a great feature that has become a standard on most gaming headsets; just the detachable microphone is my only complain against this headset, but even then it's not too terrible in all reality.

I am a current PS3 Slim and Nintendo Wii owner. I have never had any of these systems before which is the reason why i want to pick the best three as possible. So, i never had an iPad (because it came out today) Never had an iPhone, Never had a Nintendo DS, Never had any kind of PSP, And Never had any Xbox 360 before ever. So, if everybody who answers this question reads this, i would really appreciate it. Okay, lets start off with the Apple iPad. I want the Apple iPad because it is new and just came out today. Everybody wants an iPad if they do not have one, and it is the most poular thing out there right now, and it has a 10.3 Inch screen display. Now, i really think that the iPad might have some bugs in it since it just came out, but i think that Apple takes care of the viruses and bugs because they are one of the best companies out there. But, i really like the iPhone because this will be my first phone and my parents had approved on it which took a very long time to do. The iPhone has games, music, apps. and a lot more. So, if i buy the iPad and the iPhone i think that it would be very stupid of me to do that because the iPad is the same exact thing as the iPhone accept it has a larger screen. Plus, I already have a PC. Anyway, the Nintendo DSi XL is amazing with a 93% larger screens than the Nintendo DS Lite. But, what stinks is that a few days before the Nintendo DSi XL came out Nintendo announced that they will release the Nintendo 3DS sometime between Now and March 31st 2011. So, it could be released in a year. Plus, i heard that it will replace the whole Nintendo DS series, even the Nintendo DSi XL. My parents are convinced to let me buy the Nintendo DSi XL right now, and then buy teh Nintendo 3DS in a year because i am buying everything from my money. So, should i buy the Nintendo DSi XL and the Nintendo 3DS or just the Nintendo DSi XL because the Nintendo 3DS might not be amazing, or should i wait and buy the Nintendo 3DS? Now, to the PSP Series. I like the PSP 3000 because it has a large 4.3 Inch Screen. But, the problem is that Sony mught discontinue the PSP 3000 because it is getting very old and the lifespan is almost over. So, if any of you say that not all of the UMD Games are on the PlayStation Network for you to download for the PSP GO, well you would be wrong BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE GAME THAT I LIKE ON UMD IS AVAILABLE ON PLAYSTATION NETWORK, so that should not be a big problem, also pricing is not an issue at all. But, here comes the problem, my dad told me that since the Nintendo 3DS is coming out, Sony might come out with a newer version of the PSP to compete with the Nintendo 3DS, because when Nintendo released the Nintendo DSi, they released the PSP GO six months after, to compete. Also, yesterday tehre was some news that sony might come out with a new PSP because some guy said it by accident, and they might announce it at E3 2010. So, i have talked enough about the PSP so lets go to the Xbox 360 Eltie. I am a huge fan of the Halo Series, Fable Series, and a huge fan of Xbox Live. But, you know how the Xbox was released in 2005, and the Elite came out in 2007, well the Elite was the same thing as the Xbox 360 Pro, but they were black and had 120GB. So, litterly the Xbox 360 came out in 2005. But, since it is the oldest console in this generation, i am afraid that Xbox might come out with a new system maybe in 2011, or 2012. Also because they make a price drop every year and now they are $299.99 and if next year they are $199.99 then they are too cheap and the company would have to make a new system. But, do they have to make a price drop? Or can they just keep it at $299.99 and then when Project Natal make it $399.99, so will they keep it expensive or decrease the price and come out with a new Xbox. Because in 2004 i got a PlayStation 2 Slim and i thought that it was too old, but then people said that it wasn't then two years later the PS3 came out and i was sony dissapointed that i wasn't able to get the PS3 because i wasted my money on the PS2 and my parents didn't let me, but now i got the PS3 Slim on Black Friday so it was not a huge problem, but will Xbox come out with a new system because i do not want to miss out on the new one. And should i just be happy with what i have and not buy teh Xbox 360 Elite. Anyway, thank you for those who read this all. Ohhh, just remembered that if i buy teh iPad i will buy the 16GB Wi-Fi version which is $499.00. Well I have got a Nintendo DS and Xbox 360. I got the DS as soon as it came out and thought it was the best thing around at that time. Then I got a Wii, played it for about 3 months, then got bored of it. Now I know why people are selling the Wii's constantly.
Around October last year, I bought an Xbox 360 and so far, it is when of the best things I have ever spent £200 on (I got the Elite + 2 new games). I thought this was a fantastic price for what it actually is. The black consle with a 120 GB hard drive, black headset and 1 black controller. I suggest getting the Elite instead of the Arcade because you will get more for your money.
Never really been interested in buying the PS3. The HD of the Xbox was too high up for me. Hope this helps.

So, should i buy the Nintendo DSi XL and the Nintendo 3DS or just the Nintendo DSi XL because the Nintendo 3DS might not be amazing, or should i wait and buy the Nintendo 3DS? Now, to the PSP Series. I like the PSP 3000 because it has a large 4.3 Inch Screen. But, the problem is that Sony mught discontinue the PSP 3000 because it is getting very old and the lifespan is almost over. So, if any of you say that not all of the UMD Games are on the PlayStation Network for you to download for the PSP GO, well you would be wrong BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE GAME THAT I LIKE ON UMD IS AVAILABLE ON PLAYSTATION NETWORK, so that should not be a big problem, also pricing is not an issue at all. But, here comes the problem, my dad told me that since the Nintendo 3DS is coming out, Sony might come out with a newer version of the PSP to compete with the Nintendo 3DS, because when Nintendo released the Nintendo DSi, they released the PSP GO six months after, to compete. Also, yesterday tehre was some news that sony might come out with a new PSP because some guy said it by accident, and they might announce it at E3 2010. So, i have talked enough about the PSP so lets go to the Xbox 360 Eltie. I am a huge fan of the Halo Series, Fable Series, and a huge fan of Xbox Live. But, you know how the Xbox was released in 2005, and the Elite came out in 2007, well the Elite was the same thing as the Xbox 360 Pro, but they were black and had 120GB. So, litterly the Xbox 360 came out in 2005. But, since it is the oldest console in this generation, i am afraid that Xbox might come out with a new system maybe in 2011, or 2012. Also because they make a price drop every year and now they are $299.99 and if next year they are $199.99 then they are too cheap and the company would have to make a new system. But, do they have to make a price drop? Or can they just keep it at $299.99 and then when Project Natal make it $399.99, so will they keep it expensive or decrease the price and come out with a new Xbox. Because in 2004 i got a PlayStation 2 Slim and i thought that it was too old, but then people said that it wasn't then two years later the PS3 came out and i was sony dissapointed that i wasn't able to get the PS3 because i wasted my money on the PS2 and my parents didn't let me, but now i got the PS3 Slim on Black Friday so it was not a huge problem, but will Xbox come out with a new system because i do not want to miss out on the new one. And should i just be happy with what i have and not buy teh Xbox 360 Elite. Anyway, thank you for those who read this all. Ohhh, just remembered that if i buy teh iPad i will buy the 16GB Wi-Fi version which is $499.00. Who ever explains the most and gives the best detail i will give five stars and ten points, and if you write two sentences you are not going to get the best answer. Well I have got a Nintendo DS and Xbox 360. I got the DS as soon as it came out and thought it was the best thing around at that time. Then I got a Wii, played it for about 3 months, then got bored of it. Now I know why people are selling the Wii's constantly.
Around October last year, I bought an Xbox 360 and so far, it is when of the best things I have ever spent £200 on (I got the Elite + 2 new games). I thought this was a fantastic price for what it actually is. The black consle with a 120 GB hard drive, black headset and 1 black controller. I suggest getting the Elite instead of the Arcade because you will get more for your money.
Never really been interested in buying the PS3. The HD of the Xbox was too high up for me. Hope this helps.

Does the Tritton AX 720 actually have : 5.1 or 7.1 ?

I just got the Tritton AX720 from EBAY. I didn't get the 2012's because I'm not serious into gaming.
My decoder is supposed is to light up all white or what ?
1st: Blue - Power , White - Dolby Digital 5.1 signal is being received.
2nd: White - Pro Logic II mode , Off - Dolby Digital signal or Stereo Mode
3rd: White - Dolby Headphone mode , Off - Stereo mode
4th: White - Movie (Game Mode) , Green - Music Mode , Off - Stereo Mode
My decoder box has Blue the first and white on the rest .....
I play BLOPS which it is hard to sound whore but I can still here people ( just can figure out who, and where) but is it 5.1 Surround Sound because my first light is Blue and not White.
I play Xbox LIVE - RFG Sinatra III , and I have my audio settings to Dolby 5.1

Tritton AX 720 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC is really good. it takes no more than a few minutes to hook up (if your technologically savvy). This headset is a lot better than the turtle beach earforce px2s model. The sound is clearer and the setup is smoother. The only thing I did't like is at first the headset feels a little tight but after 2 days that feeling goes away.
