I want to know if consoles or PC made more money. If possible I'd like to know specifically how much each of them made. Just a general number, don't have to get into specifics about selling games or the consoles itself. Everyone has their own opinion but I want to know which one is making more money a year.
Answer
Theres currently no hard data on how many PC games were sold exactly in 2013. However, it is known that PC game sales are down by 15% from last year whereas many console sales are up, with the Wii U hitting +233% from its 2012 game sales.
You just cant expect PC to ever really sell like console because of the higher spec demand of games, illusion that high end PCs cost a 2nd mortgage, and pirates taking their fair share from the pot. Theres money to be made if you publish a great PC game like Sims or Battlefield maybe, but as far as I can see, consoles will always reign supreme.
(I'm a PC and Console gamer so I'm just speaking the truth)
