Q. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229322
I've looked in to it enough to know it should be able to play skyrim quite well
This is the computer:
CyberpowerPC Gamer Zeus System 1000T Desktop PC
Operating System: Windows 7 Home
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k(3.40GHz)
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1TB HDD Capacity
Sound: Integrated :c
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB
Premium Quad-Core 64-Bit
These are the specs to run Skyrim on high setting:
Operating System: Win XP/7
CPU: Quad-Core Intel/AMD CPU
Memory: 4GB RAM, 6GB Hard Drive Space
Sound: DirectX compatible sound card
Video Card: DirectX9 video card with 1GB memory. GTX 260/Radeon 4890 or higher
So what do you say? Should I wait it out and buy in the holiday season. Or bite on this deal. What would you do? Thanks!

Answer
@AIS - "At least" a GTX 680? what? The 680 is pretty much the best single GPU solution on the market... not to mention the most expensive. IMO, at the least he should have a midrange card such as an HD 6850 or GTX 460 (at the very lowest the HD 6770 / GTX 550 Ti).
--
That PC just barely meets the recommended system spec. The HD 7750 is just about equivalent to the HD 4870 or Nvidia equivalent GTX 550 Ti (which performs on spot with the GTX 260). It's definitely not even close to worth the price.
These three PCs outperform and are cheaper / about the same price:

The best deal out of those 3 links would be the $820 machine for the HD 6870 + FX 8120.
Remember, gaming performance is nearly entirely based on the graphics card. A weak GPU = weak performance.
The best choice would be to build it yourself. Higher quality, higher performance, and cheaper price.

Please when answering do not direct me to websites.

Answer
I'd say yes it's worth it. It's a lower budget gaming PC, but it's still able to run many of the current games on max, and the more graphics intensive at medium-high.
