Q. i want to get an asus eee pc. i want to know where the best and cheapest place to get one. i want the 2gb surf. and should i get the one or two gb ram? i want to download some games for it.

The Asus eee PC is not a gaming notebook. Get 2GB of RAM but avoid the eee PC if you want to play games. The eee PC is a very simple computer.

Can it play games, Yes is the answer to that but it depends what games you want to play. Older less graphic demanding games should run O.K but modern games with high end graphics like Bioshock,COD4,Crysis will not run at all. Its all to do with your Graphics chip and Integrated GFX chips on laptops are nowhere near as good as a dedicated GFX card.
