Gaming desktop for $500?

BC

Thinking of getting a gaming desktop and my budget is $500. It needs to be able to play games like Fallout 3, Fallout NV and most of the modern games like call of duty. I can't build one.

Answer
You won't be able to buy one new or build one with the needed specs in that price range. Your best bet would be to find one used on Ebay.

I just did a quick check and something like this would set you back $180 + shipping:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-Workstation-xw4400-C2D-E6600-4GB-500GB-ATI-R4670-1GB-DVD-RW-WiFi-N300-/271011482228?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item3f198b0a74

That's just the first one I could find after a really quick search. Just make sure you match up the system requirements for each game you want to play with the hardware listed in the description.
