Andrew Dea

I enjoy games like League of Legends, HoN, and Minecraft.

Answer
Those games really aren't to graphically demanding you could build a good gaming PC for those games for half the price but you may want to spend it all incase you wanna buy bf3 or skyrim.

Can you build me a gaming PC for $1000-$1200 range?

I'm looking for a computer that can run games like crysis or witcher 2 on highest settings with around 30-40 fps. If you could just link me all the parts that'd be great. I don't care what manufacturers create the parts, like Intel or AMD, doesn't matter to me. For a case, I'd like great airflow. A 1TB hard drive would be fine, and I'd like about 8-12 GB ram. If you could just link me to all of the pieces on newegg or any other website similar to newegg that'd be great. I have a monitor, mouse, and keyboard already. For optical drives, I don't need bluray, just DVD would be fine. If you have any other questions about things I missed just put it in your answer and I'll edit the post, thanks!

Answer
For $1000 - 1200 price range to run Crysis at 30 - FPS is crazy. You could build one that can run it much more smoother.

Case - It's really up to you, but you can take my recommendation:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021

Processor - You could find an AMD Phenom II X6 for around $150, but if you prefer intel, their i5s and i7s are pretty good ($180 - 210)
AMD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103849

Video Card - This is a very powerful video card, and is capable of running games smoothly on max settings - NVIDIA GTX 560ti

RAM - 4GB is probably essential to a gaming PC, but since RAM prices are close together, you can try to find an 8GB for a bit more than what a 4 GB costs. I recommend Corsair Vengeance

Motherboard - I usually prefer ASUS and Gigabyte Mobos. You can find one at $50 - 150. If you want to use SLI/Crossfire, be sure to find one that is compatible with it.

This mobo is compatibile with the AMD Processor I recommended above

CPU Cooler - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181010
It's much better than the stock cooling fan on the processor

Hard Drive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152291

Optical Drive - You could find a cheap one for $20 that will do fine.

I may have missed some stuff, but all this will cost you around $800 or so. And can run modern games smoothly.
