best gaming pc graphics card image

im planning to build a gaming pc with athlon II x2 cpu,4gb ram and a 128-bit 1gb graphics card. is 128-bit good enough? im not a hardcore gamer, im happy with just the lowest settings as long as it is playable.

I am not that hardcore gamer.I have a ps3,but I want a good gaming pc.So will a 1 gb graphics card of nvidia run almost all games smoothly?

You have to understand.....1 GB does not mean anything. There are excellent 1 GB cards (like the 6870/6970 Radeon) and there are horrible ones (like the 6450). There are several other factors in determining a video card's performance that are far more important. Anything above 1 GB is not going to be meaningful unless you have a decent card bandwidth and are running on a very high resolution screen
Maybe you should give us a budget and we'll tell you the best card in that price range
